This is a 7 day cycling
tour that includes cycling sections of the “Carrilet”, the converted railway
that runs for 135km from Ripoll in the Pyrenees to Sant Feliu de Guixols on
the Mediterranean Sea.
Each day from your
accommodation base you will explore the beautiful scenery of the Baix
Emporda region of Catalonia, cycling the selected highlights of the well
sign posted Cycle Network. Additionally, you will cycle a variety of
stunning rides that will clearly explain why this area of Europe is renowned
as a cyclist’s paradise!

Day 2 |
We will explore
the
‘Les Gavarres’
protected area, cycling along beautiful winding country roads with
sweeping views of the pine and cork forests that surround us.

Cycling ‘The Carrilet’ from Girona city to
the Mediterranean Sea. The old converted railway line snakes its way from the
plains of Girona down to the pine forests of the coast.

The ‘Coastal ride’
from Sant Feliu to Tossa de Mar is rated as possibly the best ride in
the entire region for its stunning views and mix of climbs and
downhills – simply unforgettable!!
