Where are we?
Creative Catalonia is located in Santa Cristina D'Aro which is in the heart
of the Baix Emporda, approximately 25km from Girona airport and 5km from Sant
Feliu de Guixols on the Mediterranean Sea. Barcelona is a little over an hour away as is France and the ski slopes
of the Pyrenees are less than two hours drive.
Our superb location affords us the ability to provide the best of what this
incredible area has to offer - with the minimum of travel involved.

The Baix Emporda region
The Baix Emporda is one of eight regions that compose the Costa Brava. It is
often referred to as the "region of coves" and is located roughly in the centre
of the Costa Brava, therefore requiring little travel to discover the highlights
of what this remarkable area offers its visitors.
Climate
The climate in Catalonia is typical for the
Mediterranean; dry and hot summers with mild and humid winters. The average
annual number of sunny days is 300. The average seasonal temperatures are:

The minimum water temperature is 13C in
February and the maximum is 25C in July. The warmest months are July and August
when the temperature regularly exceeds 30C.

Flights and Car Hire
Girona and Barcelona airports are incredibly
well connected to many other European cities flying with either Ryan Air
to Girona or Easyjet to Barcelona. Once you have landed we recommend the

The Costa Brava has excellent bus and train
links to and from Barcelona.
