This tour includes Mountain Biking the exciting and
challenging trails of the
Baix Emporda Mountain Bike network. This network has
literally hundreds of kilometres of trails that range from stunning forest
trails through to blistering single track which, at times, requires high
levels of technical skill to ride. The highest peaks in the riding area are
approximately 500m and are situated in very hilly terrain, making this
perfect mountain biking territory. The more challenging rides accumulate up
to and over 1000m of ascents.

Routes
We have
hundreds of kilometres of
mountain bike routes to choose from that take us into the Les Gavarres
and L'Ardenya protected areas (each area is approximately 400km² ).
Itineraries take us from sea level up to 500m in altitude offering
incredible views of the surrounding countryside, before winding our way
through the forest to return back to base. The trails are a combination of fire trails and single
track that will challenge even the most experienced of riders.

Transfers
Creative Catalonia will transfer you from Girona
airport, bus
or train station to your chosen accommodation and return at the end of your
stay. We also offer a transfer service to Barcelona airport, if required.

Staying at the 3 star
Eden Roc Hotel situated overlooking the water in Sant Feliu
de Guixols on a bed and breakfast basis (there is also a half-board
option at an additional charge). In addition,
there is a ‘Health & Wellness’ centre available for clients
of the hotel to help relax and recuperate from a
hard day on the saddle.

the Mas Pla Hostal and restaurant
in Santa Cristina d'Aro. The Mas Pla Hostal is a
traditional Catalan 'Masia' (old farmhouse) that has been converted into a
rustic style hostal.
It is surrounded by beautiful countryside
in the Santa Cristina d'Aro area, with a huge range of Mountain Bike rides,
road rides and rural walks right on your doorstep It is a fantastic option for those who want a
taste of 'The real Spain'.
