Busy, Busy, Busy!
Now that we are in June
all is in full swing with our cycling tours. We have had a fantastic May
with many groups completing our
"Pyrenees to the Mediterranean"
cycling
tour. All reports have been great and the smiles we've seen on
everybody's faces have been wonderful after completing the 7 day tour.
Our road riding tours have
been a huge success with our new Orbea Asphalt road bikes. Ciaran
Pringle from Dublin summed up his tour by saying:

Road
Riding - New Bikes!
April and May were busy
months for our Road Riding tours. We had our first riders out on our new
2008 Orbea Asphalt road bikes with carbon fibre forks and Shimano
2200 groupsets. The feedback was fantastic and once again everyone
really pushed themselves on the brilliant rides.
We also had our first
collaboration with DSO Sports Tours and from all accounts
everything ran to perfection. Their tours put together an unforgettable
week of riding that is a perfect balance between hard work and great
fun.

Pyrenees to the Med tour.
Our Pyrenees to the
Mediterranean cycling tour keeps going from strength to strength. It is
our most popular tour and for a good reason. It is a great way to travel
from the Pyrenees town of Ripoll through the ever-changing scenery down
to the town of Sant Feliu de Guixols on the Mediterranean Sea.
Groups are starting to
take advantage of our 4,5 and 6 day options as well as our standard 7
day option - it all depends on how much time you have. Please contact us
and ask about which tour suits you.

Cami de
Ronda walking tour.
We have recently added our
'Cami de Ronda' walking tour to our list of tours. This 7 day
walk is a fantastic introduction into the beautiful Baix Emporda region
of Catalonia. The tour follows the 'Cami de Ronda' - coastal path that
has been used for centuries by smugglers to land their contraband. Each
corner of the path offers splendid views and the invitation to have a
dip 'en-route' is always an option!
We have hand selected a
mix of 3 and 4 star hotels for this tour that ensure that you will have
all the comforts waiting for you at the end of each day.

La
Garrotxa Pre-Pyrenees paradise for walking and cycling.
We are in discussions
with the owners of Mas Garganta, a beautifully restored Masia farmhouse
on the outskirts of Olot, to provide a great base for walking or cycling
in the La Garrotxa area.
The area is in the
Pre-Pyrenees range with stunning landscapes of various terrain. The
routes will be a mix that are suitable for all levels with options to
tour through the Volcanic region and the beautiful beech forest in the
nearby countryside.

5 Day
Mountain Bike tour.
Our 5 day Mountain Bike
tour is again proving popular for its variety of challenging routes. The
base for the tour is either at the charming Hostal Mas Pla in the
countryside of Santa Cristina d'Aro or at the 3 star Eden Roc Hotel
overlooking the sea in Sant Feliu de Guixols.
We provide all of the
up-to-date maps and route notes to get you out exploring deep into the
Les Gavarres and L'Ardenya protected zones. The rides are generally
between 20 and 40 km in length and offer challenges to all levels from
novice to expert.
