Italy Tours Sardinia - Tuscany - Lake Maggiore
Bike Italia Rando invites you to cycle along the roads of the Siena countryside that bridge the Chianti and the Senese clays, an ideal place for cyclists who prefer riding in the tranquil regions of Italy. Our starting point is Gaiole in Chianti and we cycle first through the Chianti and then moving further inland to reach Rocca d’Orcia, in the heart of clays. We then return to Gaiole along hilly roads, enjoying for stretches the white epic roads, a symbol of the old road system in a still untouched environment that only the Lands of Siena can offer. This tour is recommended to
regular cyclists accustomed to riding about 60/80 km a day in hilly
terrain.
